What does it do?
- MFC are TOOLS that mechanically treat fluid using magnetic technology;
- They CONDITION fluids; they control and prevent hydrocarbon depositions, scale, and emulsion;
- They ENHANCE FLOW; of fluids whilst treating them, as they pass through the MFC tool;
- They act as a PRODUCTION TOOL; and
- as a PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE TOOL;
MFC Objectives
- Designed to increase flow;
- Improve operational and maintenance efficiency;
- Extend workover interval time and reduce lifting and maintenance cost;
- Enhance and add value to customers;
- Ultimately increase profitability by better throughput and lesser maintenance cost;
Cost Savings
- MINIMISE AND ELIMINATE;
- Chemical treatments for scale and various hydrocarbon deposition
- Downhole scale remediation or wax cutting or bullheadings
- Heat tracers or hot water piping
- A power source, as the tool is mechanical
- STABILISE production rates;
- Minimise DOWNTIME and seen to EXTEND workovers;
- REDUCE maintenance frequency of key equipment, and increase present value.
